Repository Information & Billing
Access the Repository Administration page by going to Browse on the menu and clicking on the word "Info" next to the Repository name. Then click the subheading link which is called Repository Administration.
On the Repository
Management page, under the heading Repository
Administration, click on Edit name, logo
and billing information.
This page is initially completed by NetDocuments personnel when the
Repository was setup. The Repository Administrator(s) can change this information
as needed.
NetDocuments uses the information from this page to track your account and to
bill your organization for the NetDocuments service.
Repository Description
Administrators may rename a Repository if required. From the
Browse page, a Repository name
appears as the top level entity in bolded, black characters. Cabinets
appear below the Repository name.
Branding vs Repository Logos
NetDocuments provides two branding/logo service options to an
organization:
For a fee, it can have its official company brand present in place of the NetDocuments graphic at the top of all pages users see.
Without an additional fee, NetDocuments provides a corporation the ability to display a company or customer logo in all folder navigation pages of a specific cabinet. For example, if you are a firm that has set up a cabinet as an Extranet for a client, you might want to apply the client's logo to that cabinet to enhance your extranet service offering to the client.
To brand the NetDocuments service by replacing the NetDocuments header graphic, contact NetDocuments Sales for pricing and set up. NetDocuments must do this for you. It is highly recommended that you determine to use this service at the time your Repository is set up by a NetDocuments sales manager so it will apply to all users you add after it is setup.
Repository
Logo
By default, when you choose a
Repository logo from this page, no logo appears on any cabinet. A
Cabinet administrator must go to the Cabinet administration page to either
activate the Repository logo, or to select a different one. The
repository logo should be formatted to 550x40 pixels.
Repository Restriction flag
Following the Repository logo setting there is a flag which is checked by
default. You may want to consider checking it for additional security
for the Repository.
If you uncheck this option, no user will be able to move a document from any
cabinet in the Repository to cabinets outside of the Repository.
The option is shown as follows:
□ Allow documents to be moved from this
repository's cabinets to other repositories.
Usage Information
Administrators can change the number of
users at any time. The Service requires that each time you change your
users, you need to increase the user count by a minimum of
5% of the current users.
This is required because of the overhead associated with adding users to your
service related to billing, etc. When the number of users is changed, an
email is sent to NetDocuments Billing, and an invoice is generated for
the additional users added. Contact your NetDocuments account manager if you
have questions about pricing.
Billing Information
Generally this is a code that is used
to track your billing and account. If you paid by a Credit Card, it will
show on the left side.
Credit Card vs Billing Code
Smaller accounts generally use a credit
card to purchase NetDocuments services. Generally, most Professional
service accounts will use a credit card that will be billed monthly or
annually as specified in your contract. Enterprise service accounts
receive a billing code to track the account. NetDocuments will invoice
your firm as specified in your agreement.
